Generally a pretty nice place, we ordered 2 dishes and 2 drinks. We were served the drinks and they forgot about the food. After 40 minutes we realised the food was nowhere to be seen, we did not initially ask about the food because we understand that it can take some time to prepare meals but after that they had the food out very quickly and it was amazing. We got the pancakes, a side of sweet potato fries, and the scrambled eggs aswell as a cappuccino and the lemon iced tea. They upgraded our fries to the large serving and did not charge us a table charge for the forgotten food. The staff were also very apologetic about it and they handled the situation with professionalism and ease. We didnt mind about the food being later, even tho this was our first meal in Florence after arriving there and we were quite hungry. The pancakes were soft and crispy on the outside, the syrup was great and it was overall a great meal and sweet but not sickly. My friend got the scrambled eggs and they were good. No of dressing on the salad was appreciated as he doesn't like salad dressing and the bread was really good. The sweet potato fries were amazing and they came with a home made Mayo which was wonderfully flavoured and went so well with the fries. I am not usually a sauce/dip person but this was very good. The cappuccino was great according to my friend and the iced tea was perfect. Overall we had a great experience and we thank the staff for being so amazing about the mistake. Cool vibes in the cafe perfect way to start our Florence trip.

With all the overcrowding in Florence, this place felt like an Oasis. Great service and a real local neighborhood. Wonderful place to watch Italy go by…check out hidden terrace in back!

I've dined in this cafè for 4 days, and It was really nice and special every time I was there. They had great menu, affordable, and always fresh pastry and food. Don't be fooled by the entrance seating area and how small it looks because they do have an inner dining area that faces a beautiful garden, and its looking so "history" like which I loved about this cafè. The serves were very friendly and professional while serving me and my girlfriend. Overall, I'll for sure dine in this cafè whenever I visit Florence.

If you want actual specialty coffee, this is one of the best in the city. I came here primarily looking for beans to utilize for pour overs while traveling and their selection didn’t disappoint! Also had a latte, and almond croissant and found the staff helpful and knowledgeable about all things coffee.
